48. Go and Make Disciples

Begin with prayer and worship

Passage from the Bible (from (a) Luke 10, and (b) 2 Timothy 2, and (c) Matthew 28):
(a) After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest. Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Carry no money bag, no knapsack, no sandals, and greet no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house!’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the labourer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.

(b) and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

(c) And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

How can we praise God for who He is?

Is there a sin we should confess?

How can we thank God?

What can we pray for?

How can we obey this Bible passage?

Who are you going to share these stories with?
